From bath bombs to shower curtains, these DIYS are perfect for adding a little extra zhuzh to the powder room.

If there’s any room in our abodes that we reckon always deserves a little extra sprucing up, it’s most certainly our bathrooms. After all, the bathroom is where we spend the most time cleaning up, so we decided to scour the web for some of the very best DIY craft projects that will add a nice touch of glam to arguably the most important room in the home. Peep below for our picks.

ROSE PETAL BATH SALTS If you’re lucky enough to own a bathtub, then this DIY should be number one on your list. This bath salt recipe comes to us via Paper & Stitch, which you can take a gander at over here.

DIY BATH MAT After we’ve spent our time washing up in the shower (or singing nothing but Mariah Carey), we don’t want to slip by standing onto the tiles below – or, worse still, leave wet footprints all throughout our home. Thankfully, bath mats exist, and this one made by DIY Candy is super-cute and heaps easy to make.

DIY TOWEL RACK Now, we don’t know about you guys, but we prefer our towels clean, neat and not haphazardly thrown on the floor to pick up and dry ourselves off with. If you need a little extra storage space for your towels, check out this rad DIY made by Never Skip Brunch this-a-way.

GREEN APPLE BATH BOMBS We don’t think we’ve ever seen such an adorable and tasty-looking bath bomb that’s perfect for the cosy season – although we recommend not stealing a bite since you’ll probably end up knocked out like Snow White (best just to leave it for the bath). Spy the full recipe made by Sugar and Charm over here.

QUILTED SHOWER CURTAIN After spending a long and warm shower session singing along to some bangin’ tunes, make sure to pull back the curtain and hear the applause of your adoring fans – the literal kind that’s removing steam clogging up the entire room. This stylish shower curtain by The House That Lars Built is right up our alley, and you can learn how to make it yourself by taking a hop, skip and a jump here.

DIY BATHTUB TRAY Is there anything more luxe than cosying up in a warm bath? Yes: a nifty tray to hold up drinks, snacks and whatever else we’d like to make our bath experience that much more relaxing. This tray DIY was created by Ella Claire & Co., and you can make it for yourself by popping over here.
