issue 113

Expect the unexpected in frankie 113. For this issue, we asked the pros (a musician, writer, artist and comedian) for advice on beating creative block, and boy did they deliver. We also learnt the ins and outs of building an escape room, spent a day in a seven-person Sydney sharehouse (the décor was rad) and asked creative people to show us their best secondhand treasures (spoiler alert: they include McDonald’s chairs and haunted paintings). We made one writer repeat positive affirmations for 30 days straight, rounded up Nic Cage’s best movies, ranted about weirdly aggressive male skincare and met a hijab-wearing pin-up model. Yep, we’re full of surprises.GET YOUR KICKS
