Inspired by the teeny-tiny drawings of abstract animals by Pablo Picasso, Lee Sangsoo transforms strips of steel and resin into kaleidoscopic but minimalist creatures that take shape and come alive through curved lines.
The South Korean artist describes his method as "drawing in the air," and captures the signature traits of Siamese cats, poodles, swans and deer through metal – which we reckon is pretty dang impressive.
