juliette minchin’s art is literally built to burn
Now, we don’t want to toot our own horn or anything, but we here at frankie know a thing or two about candles. The most important fact we know is that, well, they burn and they sometimes smell nice, like pine needles and vanilla. But we reckon that Juliette Minchin is a candle fan who puts us to absolute shame.
Born and based in Paris, Juliette is an ace sculptor, artist and videographer who often explores themes relating to impermanence through wax that is shaped and formed to resemble draping fabric, often placed upon large steel formations.
