Released to the public in the now-defunct Soviet Union in 1985, Tetris has since gone on to become one of the most iconic and enduring video games ever to exist, with such an intense popularity that has even resulted in a phenomenon where folks begin to see similar patterns in their day-to-day lives and dreams. 

Bulgarian photographer, Mariyan Atanasov, takes The Tetris Effect to new heights with his physics-defying snaps of Sofia, Bulgaria.
