If there's one thing we absolutely love to do while in a new country, it's to dilly-dally and wander through the streets while taking in all the lovely sights, sounds and smells on offer – and promptly spending all of our travel money on tasty eats and adorable knick-knacks.

Breite Street, Bonn, Germany Cherry blossoms are usually associated with Japan, but there's a spot in the German city of Bonn that boasts some of the loveliest pink blooms you'll ever see. Get a load of Tim Rüßmann's springtime snaps here if you want a closer look. Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, Spain The streets of Jerez de la Frontera in the city of Cádiz, Spain should be seen by any and all wine-lovers and history-buffs. See the pretty Spanish streets snapped by Luciano Salvatore over here, if you fancy. Chefchaouen, Morocco If you happen to be a big fan of blue, then feast your eyes on this Moroccon city since it's draped almost head-to-toe in a cerulean hue. Check out Press Wilson's snaps of the city's beautiful blue alleys this-a-way. Paros, Greece This picturesque Greek island has pretty much anything we could ever ask for while on a summer holiday (AKA, super-soft sandy beaches to lounge around on with crystal-clear water to splash around in), as well as the iconic marble architecture that the country is known for. If you want a good look at Paros' white stone streets, check out Rosa Boerman's snaps here. The Shambles, York, United Kingdom With a name like that you'd probably expect a daggy-looking street caked in litter and other nasty junk, but we're happy to report that this British street is a whimsical landscape straight out of history. Peep Piero Damiani's photos of York and The Shambles here. Muizz Street, Cairo, Egypt If ancient pyramids and a freaking giant sphinx made out of sand somehow doesn't impress you (who are you, Shania Twain!?), we reckon that Egypt's Muizz Street is literally up your alley.
