ollie jones’ paintings make us feel nostalgic
Do you remember when you were a kid and would stay up way past your bedtime watching stupid videos on YouTube or scrolling endlessly on Tumblr, Facebook and any other social media sites that were popping off at the time, hoping ol’ mum and dad wouldn’t spot you not sleeping? We reckon that Edinburgh-based artist, Ollie Jones, manages to capture this exact childhood experience in his hazy paintings.
Ollie’s captures a feeling and period of time where computers were blocky and smartphones didn’t exist yet in his art, which we frankly wish we could return to.
