We’re a bit ashamed to admit this, but we have to say that we’ve never really considered the artistic possibilities of our eating utensils before. Thankfully, Marisa Adesman happened to see what we couldn’t, and has created a wide range of dreamy paintings that give spoons, knives and especially forks the spotlight they deserve.
If the wild surrealism of Salvador Dalí’s work just so happened to merge with the vibrant colours of Georgia O’Keefe’s paintings, we reckon that it would look a lot like Marisa’s cracking art – and maybe forks would become the arty supermodels that they deserve to be.
