I’m a fine artist living in the Margaret River region. My emerging creative practice encompasses observational, realistically rendered compositions. A dear female artist friend passed these succulent cuttings to me. They’ve grown roots, flourished, and will soon be strong enough to survive on their own. Such is our friendship – women supporting women, sharing our gardens, wisdom and stories of life with humility and conviviality. These thriving cuttings symbolise the growth in female solidarity and alliance that fuels, facilitates and enriches my sense of self, and in turn informs a large part of my identity.
