this fun polish playground emphasises accessibility
Resembling a video game system stemming back to the early 2000s, this playground is located in Chorzów, Poland, and is built in an area that was formerly used for military activity. SLAS Architects, who call this little playground the "Activity Zone", are the smart cookies behind this and heavily incorporated the use of concrete so that wheelchair users can navigate the area with ease.
Activity Zone is a public space that’s suitable for all ages and not only includes play equipment, but also fitness, greenery and heaps of uniquely designed furniture placed throughout so that anyone can enjoy the Activity Zone.
