My poem, Blackwood, was inspired by my experience of my mum's death in 2019, as well as my love of the town Blackwood and its cemetery. After a lifetime of doodling, drawing and jotting down poems, ditties and stories, I am finally old enough to not be scared of putting my work out there for others to see.
