We've got something a little different for frankie's Scribble Club this time – we're testing out a new creative generative AI (artificial intelligence) tool Adobe Firefly. 

We love that this tool is a little different from other generative AI tools because this model was trained on Adobe Stock images, openly licensed content and public domain content where copyright has expired, so it is designed to generate content safe for commercial use. Yay! An AI image that you can feel good about.

If you already use Adobe Express, Photoshop or Illustrator, Firefly is natively integrated so you can experiment, ideate and create within your favourite app. If you don't have an Adobe account, you can sign up to Adobe Express for free and nab 25 generative credits a month, also for free! 

You don’t have to be a tech genius or a full-time artist to use it either. You can use your own words to generate content however you dream it up, super quickly and easily. All you have to do is jump on the standalone Adobe Firefly site, login with your Adobe details and chose whatever Firefly tool suits you best (we’re going to start with ‘Text to Image’). 

It supports text prompts in over 100 languages, which is pretty nifty too!

To make it easier for you to know where to start, we’ve chosen the creative prompt of “flower power”. Feel free to start there if you like, and see where it takes you!

We're super keen to see what you come up with, so feel free to send us a snap of your work or tag us on Instagram (and use the hashtag #frankiefirefly and #AdobeFirefly) and we will share our faves. It's not a competition, though – the point is to try out something a bit different and play around. We’d love to see whatever you make, whether it's fully formed or a work in progress.
