SABINA CUBEDDU – OKA LOVE VINYL COVER

I am a graphic designer and a big fan of OKA, a local band from Eumundi. Their music inspires me and makes me want to dance all the time, so I created this album cover as an homage to the band.
The first part of the project is hand crafted. I used leaves, parts of palm trees, gumtree seed pods, and painted some of them. The second part of the work is digital. After we took photos of the letters, I used Photoshop and Indesign to create the layout of the cover, then the mock-up.
For this project, I wanted to use natural elements to reflect the band's values. OKA's music is about connecting to the heart. They call it “the mystical spirit of the dream time”.
