Ruby Gilbert weaves Americana with the present day. She has received multiple Queensland Music Award nominations, played prominent festivals around Australia including BIGSOUND and has opened for C.W. Stoneking, Justin Townes Earle, and The Teskey Brothers.

“No Vacancy” is about the early stages of romance and its inevitable end. Ruby wrote the song in 2018 while on tour, hopping from hotel room to hotel room. The song was produced by Aaron Shanahan (Miami Horror, Dream Dali), with additional trumpet from Eamon Dilworth (Tijuana Cartel).
