This project was shot on a Canon A-1 with 35mm Portra400 film. I began shooting street photography during my travels around India and found a love for framing the person in the photo around the structural environments they were in. Whether the person was framed by the boats on the Ghats in Varanasi, or the mirror of a tuk tuk, it told me something about them within the particular social context. I decided to shoot on film to capture these unique moments at a point in time through an immutable photographic form.
