“Paint You While You’re Still” – off my debut EP, In/Congruence – was written in a small farmhouse in the Turkish countryside with an old guitar, in a quiet moment of peaceful content. Swaying in the breeze, I sang about my love, my home, and the fleeting nature of time. As it slipped through my fingers, I captured this moment of whole happiness as a painting of sounds, knowing that soon, as all things do, the moment would change and be gone.
