You Won't Remember This is a series of small illustrations that explore our relationship with social media. As a teacher, I am constantly confronted with the effect this technology has on the brain, including our ability to engage with and retain information in our working memory.
The blue biro drawings are moments sourced from the background of popular influencer and advertiser posts. These moments are unplanned and uninteresting, and are most likely never going to resurface in the users’ memory, yet exist on the internet for everyone to see.
