Badaam is a slow-fashion label. It promotes ethical handwoven production and artisanal spirit. We believe that fashion is not a garment, but a story passed down from seeds to looms to hands. Our current series is focused on the power of mindfulness in urban environments.
Dhyaan means to contemplate, meditate and consider. Our Dhyaan project captures quiet moments of a gentle woman in her home. We watch as she struggles with her thoughts overwhelming her spirit. She starts playing with tactile things around her. She brushes her hands against woven silks, cottons and ceramics. She suddenly hears her pet bird chirp. Her daze is broken.
