post hunk gives old textiles new life
Even old tea towels can be turned into rad garms.
Where do tablecloths and beach towels go when they die? Hopefully not the tip, because textile waste is super-bad for the planet, and because it would be a goddamn tragedy for cute and colourful fabrics to wind up in landfill. We like to think they’re all off to textile nirvana, which probably looks a lot like POST HUNK, a chequered, gingham paradise presided over by local stylist Kirsty Barros (the creative mind behind Client Liaison’s kooky onstage looks). Kirsty’s apparel afterlife includes one-off duds made from deadstock and vintage materials, available only through Instagram at @posthunk. Heavenly.
