‘Garden Party’ is a handmade embroidery piece designed and created by me, Penny Min Ferguson. The 37x29.5cm work displays a variety of different wool colours and textures embroidered into a framed canvas.
Created for the group exhibition Bloomin’ Beauty, held at BSIDE Gallery in August 2017, ‘Garden Party’ playfully celebrates the sublime and somewhat surreal beauty of dense rainforest ecosystems.
