peep alessandra d’innella’s technicolour floral snaps
Flowers on our planet are already known for their bright colours, (their most defining feature, we reckon) but London-based shutterbug, Alessandra D’Innella, gives some botanical buds an extra pop of colour to make them look like they belong in another galaxy.
Inspired by the ideas of impermanence and the illusion of reality found in Zen philosophy, Alessandra paints “unreal colours” onto flowers to help depict “the illusion of a constant present moment” due to the transient nature of nature. We think they look pretty rad, and if you fancy a closer look then hop over to Alessandra’s website.
