I travelled out alone to Lake Mungo, aiming to learn a bit about the land I live in. I found that this part of Australia is vast – long stretches of nothing mingled with crazy weather. It felt post-apocalyptic. I took photos from the side of the road, in the day and at night. They became more abandoned, more alien as I went. This sparked an idea for a photo narrative; one which finds Australia after an alien invasion. Each picture contains a soundtrack, which can be listened to as the viewer takes in each image.
