“Crêpes for Change is a non-profit social enterprise that operates a food truck selling hand-crafted French crêpes, with 100% of the proceeds reinvested into eliminating youth homelessness. With zero start-up capital, we have run two successful crowdfunding campaigns since early 2015, and have over 40 passionate volunteers and product partnerships, ensuring a sustainable business model. In our first year of trading, we generated more than $100,000 in revenue. Our partnership with Launch Housing provides rental support to young people who've experienced homelessness, and our research found that this support transitioning into financial independence ultimately paves the way to escaping homelessness forever.”
