nastasya shulyak’s felted creatures are simply adorable
We dare you to look into the eyes of these little guys without falling in love (note: it’s impossible). Handmade by Russian-born crafter, Nastasya Shulyak, these round critters are affectionally named “Bumps” and resemble fruits, veggies, flowers and various other animals such as wolves, dinosaurs and bears.
Nastasya explains that her relationship with wool began as an “accident” when a friend gifted her a set of coloured wool for the new year and soon enjoyed its “suppleness and plasticity” and loved the “childish resounding happiness in an adult” her delightful creations brought.
