madio studio's melted disco balls
Freak freak.
This is the story of a fabulous disco ball – once the life of the party and centre of the d-floor. One day, it fell from a great height. Neglected and left to melt in the sun, it became wobbly and warped. But Sydney artist Madi Oma saw something in it. She knew it would continue to reflect the sunshine or moonlight just so, no matter its shape. And so she picked it up and made more in its likeness, dubbing the collection ‘Reflection Rocks’. Hand-sculpted, tiled and made-to-order, each unique disco ball can be found at MADIO STUDIO's online shop. Keep an eye on Madi's Instagram for updates about future drops. This sparkly, warped orb comes straight from the pages of issue 107.
