kelsey doyle – italian summer

My photography mostly consists of the things I love most about my hometown of Brisbane, cities I’ve travelled to and bands/artists I love. I captured these images while in Italy last June. When I travel, I carry a film camera everywhere I go. While wandering the Amalfi Coast and Isle of Capri, I couldn’t put my camera down.

I shot these on my Pentax K1000 using Portra 400 film, which brings out the summery tones. The thing I love most about shooting on film is that it takes what I see in person and makes it even more magical. Whenever I look at these images, I feel so grateful for being able to explore Italy last year.
