Bowi Play is an interchangeable toy, developed and designed to reflect the gender stereotyping issue in society. Its purpose is to minimise perceptions of gender stereotypes, and maximise the value of equality for the younger generation, using the concept: ‘no matter who you are, you can be and do anything’. It aims to help children understand and learn about diversity and equality through an occupation theme. Bowi Play is not only for physical play, but can also be integrated with augmented reality technology to allow children to play digitally.
