The Rolly Polly bench is a two-person Tasmanian oak dowel bench connected together with bearings, allowing the occupiers to roll backwards and forwards! Embracing my inner child, I wanted to create a piece of furniture that encourages play and gets everyone giggling – combining this with Memphis-inspired shapes and hues, the Rolly Polly bench was born. The bench takes a new twist to public/private seating design. The cheeky rolling movement acts as a catalyst to get its sitters connected and chatting in public spaces or a backyard, while coincidentally receiving a luxurious little massage. Keep on rolling!
