Mustard was launched in 2018. Two sisters, living on opposite sides of the planet – Australia and the UK. The idea was sparked by the question: what is it you love that’s uniquely you? Becca thought about her home and studio – she’s always had a thing for lockers. Flaky old ones found on the side of the road, a few from antique stores, and some new. From that day, the work began. Researching, reading, brainstorming, meeting, writing endless lists and seeking out a manufacturer that could bring the vision to life. We flew around the world to meet in China and learn as much as possible about creating our dream products. We got to see our very first samples be born. It was magic.
