I’m the co-founder and CEO of Scarf, a social enterprise which began in 2010. I'm passionate about social justice and bringing the community sector and hospitality industries together to do good.

Scarf runs hospitality training, mentoring and paid work-experience programs to make employment more equitable for young people facing barriers to work. Scarf trainees are keen, resilient young people who may be seeking protection, or who come from refugee and migrant backgrounds.

Since 2010, we’ve partnered with over 100 Melbourne restaurants to support 268 young people. Scarf Dinners are a positive, supportive environment where trainees thrive and gain real-world experience. Scarf graduates then move on to jobs with new skills, knowledge, networks and tons of confidence.
