Yep, you read that right, these aren’t photographs or paintings. Cécile Davidovici is a New York-based artist who uses textiles as a vehicle to create these stunning embroideries, which are pretty dang dreamy if you ask us.
Cécile, who first used filmmaking as her medium of choice, began her textile art following the death of her mother, as she explains that she felt a need to “replace images and sound with physical, tactile materials”. Peep the rest of her fab work over here, or take a visit to her Instagram.
