An excellent way to use up leftover Easter treats (if there is such a thing).

Nothing beats a decent helping of chocolate at Easter time. To take it to the next level, we’re whipping up some Easter-inspired chocolate bark! Not only does it look super-pretty, it’s also really easy to make, and a great way to use up any leftover treats (if there is such a thing).INGREDIENTS
400g white chocolate
oil-based food colouring
as many of your favourite Easter treats as you like!METHOD
1. Separate 300g and 100g of white chocolate into heat-proof bowls. Melt both batches of chocolate by placing the heat-proof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir until melted. Use the oil-based food colouring to colour the 100g batch of melted chocolate. (Be sure to use oil-based colouring, as the chocolate won’t take well to ordinary food colouring. Alternatively, you could use pre-coloured candy melts instead of colouring the white chocolate.)

2. Spread the non-coloured white chocolate onto a tray lined with greaseproof paper, trying to keep it in a rectangle shape. Dollop the coloured white chocolate around the rectangle.3. Marble the pink chocolate through the white chocolate with a wooden skewer until you’re satisfied with the effect. (Don’t overwork it, as the colours will start to mix.)4. Add your Easter treats to the marbled chocolate. Tip: in this case more is more, but if you add the treats in random ‘bursts’ it looks really effective!5. Place in the fridge to set. Once set, take out of the tray and snap into shards.Find heaps more lovely stuff from Janelle (including her exceptionally charming handmade fashion label, Rosery Apparel) over here.
