five peach recipes that are super-duper-delish
Whether sweet or savoury, we're feeling peachy keen about these recipes.
We reckon that there’s no such fruit that embodies the feeling of summer as much as the peach does, so we’re listing our favourite peach-based recipes for you all to try before the season ends – which always seems to happen a lot sooner than we’d like. Spy our picks below.
GRILLED PEACH AND BURRATA CROSTINI If you have yet to enjoy the taste of a grilled peach under the warm glow of summer sun, you’re seriously missing out. Thankfully, the folks over at Spoon Fork Bacon have you covered with this super-yummo seasonal staple that would fit right at home on a charcuterie board or just by themselves. Check out the recipe over here.
ROSÉ POACHED PEACHES WITH WHIPPED COCONUT CREAM How decadent does that sound? We happened to find this recipe over at Camille Styles, and we are mighty happy that we did. This boozy and vegan dessert is perfect for cooling down on a particular scorcher of a day, and you can read up on everything you’ll need for this recipe this-a-way.
CINNAMON PEACH PIE We would be seriously amiss if we didn’t include at least one hot peach dish on this list because even if it’s summer, we’re big fans of pie. This comes from Style Sweet and includes an all-butter crust, a braided top, the juiciness of peaches, and the flavour of cinnamon – sorry, please excuse us while we wipe off our drool. Take a hop, skip and a jump this way to try it out yourself.
PEACHES AND CREAM POPSICLES If you happen to know a more summery treat, please let us know, but in our eyes, there’s nothing better on a hot day than a fruity icy pole – and this one from Sugar and Cloth sounds especially tasty. Visit their website over here to give this recipe a crack.
PEACH SALSA We reckon that if there was a beauty pageant for dips, this bright salsa would come in the first place – just look at how pretty it looks! Love and Lemons made this sweet and savoury salsa recipe to add to tacos or enhance nachos, but it would be nice enough to eat on its own too. Peep the full recipe this way.
