fibre art and lush rugs by hhhooks

Most homes have a rug or two inside, but have you ever seen one in the shape of a banana? Or how about a polar bear wearing a tropical shirt strumming a ukulele? These aren’t rhetorical questions, they’re the rad creations of artist Hanna Eidson AKA Hhhooks. Her hand-tufted and machine-made designs are delightfully detailed and sure to brighten up any nook or space on a wall.

Frankly, we’d love to get inside her brain because what kind of genius decides to craft a pickle jar rug, or heart-shaped cushion embroidered with ‘eat shit’? Cosy, creative and colourful--she’s our kind of gal. Have a scroll on her site and Instagram to see her massive portfolio (we especially love the egg-on-toast masterpiece).
