explore impressive floral displays at the art of bloom exhibition
They say that life imitates art, but how about flowers imitating art?
While plenty of trees around Melbourne will be a moody shade of auburn this May, city folk will be able to step inside a spring wonderland at the National Gallery of Victoria’s (NGV) Art of Bloom exhibition. Dozens of creative types will put together a showcase of whimsical floral displays that reinterpret works of art currently held in the NGV Collection.
There are plenty of frankie faves taking part in the project, including ACID.FLWRS, Alchemy Orange and Amanda Dziedzic. The showcase will be open to the public on May 4th and 5th. Reckon you’ve got a spare moment to gaze at some dreamy flowers? Nab a ticket here. You can also follow along via Instagram.
