October marks the start of Brisbane's storm season. On this day, the sky was green. Getting caught in the eye of the storm, we waited patiently (trapped) under the cover of a picnic table while the rain hammered down. It was nearly dusk when it passed, and the sky exploded with colour and light. We stood knee-deep in the ocean surrounded by jellyfish washed ashore during the storm, and hurriedly shot in awe of the changing sky as it quickly transitioned from black to pink, before greeting us with a rainbow in the last 15 minutes of the day.
