check out ashlea bechaz's framed felt
Why should photos and paintings be the only things that get to be framed?
We often see felt used to craft fun, fuzzy animals, patches or other adorable bits and bobs, so we were pleasantly surprised to see Melbourne artist Ashlea Bechaz’s rather sophisticated take on the furry medium. Ashlea’s spiffy works are made from Australian wool felt, coloured using organic vegetable dyes and placed in antique Italian frames. Prices for the soft, one-off paintings start at $80 and you can grab one over here.
This framed felt comes straight from the pages of issue 115. To get your mitts on a copy, swing past the frankie shop, subscribe or visit one of our lovely stockists.
