"Staring at the Starry Ceiling is our debut album, recorded and co-produced in Point Lonsdale with Nick Huggins, and in Mabel's bedroom by Mabel. We played (almost) all the instruments ourselves – guitar, ukulele, banjo, cello, violin, glockenspiel and lyre – with percussion by Nick and hammered dulcimer by Andy Rigby. We launched the album at the Wonderland Spiegeltent in Docklands in 2016, and it has been played on Triple R, PBS and Radio National. The track “Paper and Ink” won the Darebin Music Feast Songwriters' Award, and came out of a poetry competition we had one rainy Sunday afternoon.”
