“In a long and happy tradition of making things with my sister, Abby Fraser, we came up with these alpaca 'Comfort Couriers', for which I made tiny needle-felted alpacas and she crocheted teeny granny blankets. These alpacas will deliver you small items of comfort such as biscuits, cushions and a sandwich. They were exhibited in my 2016 exhibition 'Kept in Mind' at Tinning Street Gallery, Brunswick, Victoria. Through a series of installations, 'Kept in Mind' explored memories, both precious and incidental – here exemplified in the recollection of crafting with my sister – and utilised nostalgic craft processes and techniques.”
