becki moss – queer portraits of auckland
Photography
Auckland, NZ
I’m a queer Pākeha visual storyteller and invisible-disability advocate. My work focuses on creating meaningful connections with people before I even pick up the camera. I use my work to share stories of overlooked communities and aim to help people feel seen, validated and heard.
Queer Portraits of Auckland is an ongoing series of nightlife portraits of Auckland’s queer community. Raw, vulnerable and strong, I want the people I photograph (who are often strangers at first) to feel beautiful and powerful in these photos.
