“I recently launched my first fashion collection, which is all made locally in Redfern, Sydney. The collection features digitally printed illustrations of native Australian plants and insects, printed on 100% silk in a small range of refined, timeless styles. My fashion line is a reaction to fast fashion – everything is made to order to minimise waste, and to be as environmentally sustainable as possible. Manufacturing locally also allows me to create meaningful relationships with my makers, and to ensure they are working in excellent conditions, which is extremely important to me.”
