‘Stags from Leon’s Garden’ pays homage to my grandfather’s ever-impressive garden. His pride and joy, the giant stag is bigger than me! I made all these hot. This means each frond has been sculpted with hot glass and assembled while hot. The backings are timber and have been attached cold. My grandfather is an incredible gardener, built his own house, taught all us kids to swim, and is just about the best guy I know. I hope he knows that.
