“This piece pays homage to the humble celery stick, and was part of my proudest achievement to date – my solo show, ‘I Dream A Green House’, at JamFactory Contemporary Craft and Design. Created by hot sculpting molten glass, each celery stalk is crafted by hand using traditional glassblowing methods. I’m really taken with the celery sticks, and this was one of my favourite pieces from my show. I love the subtle colouring and the gorgeous contrast of the pale greens with the bright pink backdrop.”
