Travelling to Europe in 2018, I visited the island Milos in Greece, where we stumbled across an amazing, surreal landscape, Sarakiniko. There were people sunbaking and enjoying the wildly aesthetic beach – white rock next to the bluest water I'd ever seen. I was amazed by the colours and shape, instinctively shooting every angle with my Minolta x-700 film camera. Using Portra 400, the images created nostalgic tones and amazing texture. The images I took still send me feelings of serenity. I'll always remember it as 'The Moonscape Paradise'.
